Seafood Hut Incorporated in Acushnet

My food was perfect but I ordered a fisherman's platter and my fish was so tiny I thought they were scallops. But it was the best seafood I have had in a while

The Seafood Hut is a hit or miss depending on what you are ordering and who is doing the cooking. The seafood is good. Not great, but adequate. The portions tend to be smaller than some of their competitors. The burgers are a huge disappointment. The patties are rubber pucks that you can purchase at Walmart or any grocery store. The fries are ok. Some days they will be cooked well done and other days they are undercooked. My wife had ordered the grilled cheese sandwich a few times. The bread is always burnt to the point of being unedible. I want to like this place but i can't. We will not be going back. They lack consistency with their dishes. Two thumbs down.

Decent customer service. Generous selection. Cute little place. Something for everyone - fair pricing. However....my salad was AWFUL. Mom had fried chicken in hers which had very clearly been fried in the same oil as the fish which made her entire salad taste like old fish, gross! Mine was just poorly executed. Mostly wilted, yellow and white undesirable parts of the lettuce with very little In there other than lettuce. Will not be returning.

Used to be better, tastes great and fresh. But the portion to price was nothing like it used to be. 7 scallops for $15.

1 st time customer. Ordered clam cakes and they were cooked to perfection. However I didnt find 1 clam in 6 clamcakes. Disappointed. I would try something else at some point.

They have the best fish &chips or fried seafood .the batter isnt greasy & oily. Its light & fluffy yet crispy &tasty. Very fresh seafood...They have a nice patio area to sit & dine or take out Is what I've always done.

Great Place for very tasty Sea Food, burgers, chilli cheese dogs, cheese burgers, ice cream, If its a new england favorite they most likely have it..

Their clam cakes were awesome. Buffalo wrap is pretty good and blt. The burgers are kina like pucks. Lol . Overall I'd go back tho.

Best scallops in the area. I ordered half a pound which were lightly battered and cooked perfectly. They popped in my mouth with buttery softness you never want to stop. Served with soft french fries, Cole slaw, and tartar sauce. The service is fast and friendly. Take out or eat in outside seating. If you have room don't pass on the ice cream, a delicious finish to any meal at the Hut. Located on the Fair Haven end of South Main St Acushnet.

Best fried seafood around.

Nice little take out place, never had indoor seating always the outdoor tables or takeout so this place will probably survive

Really, the best fish and chips locally for me. Good quality. And I hate coleslaw. But there's is pretty refreshing.

Just left this establishment. It isn’t even going to matter what this food tastes like, I can guarantee you I will never be back. Two young ladies working the window have to have the worst customer service ever. Seriously they must be related to the owner or they wouldn’t have a job. Asked for a Ford, you would have thought I asked for her first born child. I wish I could have reached in and taken my tip back!

Very POOR experience I had today... the young lady that took my order was extremely rude- ordered hot dog special (As described On the menu board includes 2 hot dogs, chips, drink with French fries for $6.75) The employee didn’t ask what we would like on the hot dogs, so I asked ... no big deal. Once food was ready I asked for ketchup for the fries- ohh I guess that was too much to ask for by the heavy sigh and dirty look I received. I then asked what chips were available to choose from - as that is what was missing from our order - she processed to say that it doesn’t come with chips. I said that’s what the menu board stated - she then gave me a huge attitude & said it was either chips or French fries - I again reiterated that’s not what your menu board states. HUGE attitude and shuts the window ! Horrible service and not worth the $$$$

Excellent clam chowder. Call ahead and your order willbe ready when you get there. Mostly take out but there are a couple of tables so you can eat outside.

Hit or Miss! Yesterday was a miss. Had lunch with my wife. I got the large scallop plate and her a grilled chicken salad with bacon. Mine looked like a kids plate & they cut the scallops IN half to look like more. My wifes grilled chicken was still raw. Very disappointed! Never again. Sorry Seafood Hut you will miss our business!

The place serves large dishes and for reasonable rates. very nice staff. Will visit again.

Favorite place for fish n chips! Their batter is so unique than any other place in the area. Its thinner batter so i get to enjoy the fish instead of a thick piece of batter
